Job Description:

Our client, a software company specializing in institutional investment portfolio analysis and risk management applications, is looking to hire a National Sales Manager.

 

Role:

- Exceed annual sales target through identifying, qualifying and closing of new client contracts.

- Identify potential leads and secure introductory meetings to deliver compelling sales presentations, and move interested prospects through the entire sales process.

- Develop an understanding of sophisticated investment analysis methodologies underlying our style and risk analysis based products.

- Work with VP of North America Sales to design Canadian sales strategy and implement well crafted, annual sales plan for assigned territory.

- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all customer contacts, discussions and initiatives in web-based CRM.

 

Requirements:

- Demonstrated sales achievement in selling software is preferred.

- Excellent written, presentation and general sales skills.  

- Investment sector experience is required and risk or related analytical application sales experience is preferred.

- Expertise in securing introductory meetings with prospects with preference for experience in conducting effective meetings specifically with investment managers, investment consultants and plan sponsor staff.

- Readiness to undertake regular domestic and occasional international travel. 

- Self-starter with enthusiasm to participate in a growing business.

 

Compensation

-Base salary of $80-90k, with on target earnings of $150k
