Job Title: Sales Manager (reporting to VP of Sales)

They have been in business since 1960 and are located in over 180 cities across North America.
They are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join their office in Mississauga.
General Functions:
To provide goal orientated leadership to the sales team that will facilitate the achievement of dealership sales and financial goals, and to underscore the Company’s Core Values with regard to co-workers and customers. Work ethic and passion are critically needed ingredients.
Specific Duties:
Ensure that individual sales goals are achieved including installation and RMR (Recurring Monthly Revenue) growth.
Spend majority of time in the field, coaching and counseling salespeople to improve performance according to time and territory sales standards. When in field, it is expected that a full day is spent with each salesperson.
Require Sales Team to utilize CRM as an individual aid and to assist others as a management tool.
Help sales staff achieve sales calls, appointments, presentation and quotation standards, and for overall improvement of closing ratios and maximization of installation and RMR on jobs sold.
Supervise telemarketing team (NONE IN PLACE CURRENTLY) to ensure they are acquiring prime prospects through established lead source systems as well as evaluating new sources. Offer creative suggestions for approaching the marketplace.
Supervise sales coordination to ensure all necessary paperwork is properly routed resulting in well-coordinated installations.
Provide new salespeople with a structured supervised sales and product training program.
Provide weekly training for the entire sales force.
Annually prepare a detailed marketing plan that will assess the sales department, current market conditions, competition and activities necessary for achievement of annual quotas. Review monthly statements.
Requirements:
- 5+ Years in a Sales Management Role
- Experience managing a sales team of 3+ reps
- Experience in the security industry is an asset, but not required

Compensation:
70-90K Base + Commission (T.I. 130K)
