Position Summary:

 

Reporting to the Director of Sales, our client is seeking an experience Regional Sales Manager responsible for meeting or exceeding annual sales targets for all products in the assigned region through market development and growth of channel and customer relationships.

 

Essential Functions:

 

Responsible for ensuring that competent service and support is readily available for any customer within the assigned region.

 

Annually develops and executes a sales plan for the assigned region in support of the zone business plan and the company’s strategic plan.  Sales plan to include means of measuring success.

 

Develops and manages expense budgets for the region.

 

Manages accounts in accordance with the client’s sales policy.

 

Solicits sales by all appropriate and ethical means within the assigned region.

 

May manage independent representatives as required by territory.

 

Performs data analysis and acquisition for customer performance measures.

 

Works closely with fellow zone manager in developing customer and account strategies and tactics.

 

Provides data and analysis relative to competitive products, sales activities and promotions, new product opportunities, and overall business environment within the assigned region.

 

Recommends performance measures and sales opportunities to zone manager.

 

Extensively travels (40% or more) to customer locations, trade shows or events in assigned region.

Required Education and/or Experience:

 

Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university is required.

Prior experience creating business/sales plans and effectively executing the plans.

 

Experience with two-tier distribution systems and knowledge of international commerce is desired.

JOB SUMMARY:

General Overview

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records;

- Work with the traditional media sales teams (TV, radio and print) to develop integrated packages.

 

Requirements

- Bilingual - Proficiency in French and English (written and verbal);

- Post secondary education;

- Minimum of three years of sales experience;

- Experience dealing with agency relationships

- Solid understanding of annual budgets and forecasting;

- Professional writing style; superior presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook.

 

Compensation

- Total on target earnings ~ 120K
